During the months of October and November, we will be collecting money for the Children’s Weekend Food Program (CWFP). Their mission is “to provide child-friendly, nutritious, non-perishable food items for breakfast, lunch and snacks for local students on most non-school days of the regular school year.” Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the cost of the food that will be sent home with students for Thanksgiving break.
Cash offerings given in October and November and offerings designated for CWFP will go towards this effort. We will assemble the food in packs on November 23. Stay tuned for more details.
