Back to school season is upon us, and you can help local students get ready for the year by donating school supplies to the Friends Of Learning Back to School Project!

Friends of Learning (FOL) is a nonprofit collaboration between the St. Peter Lions Club, Nicollet County, the Salvation Army, and Friends of the St. Peter Library that works to collect school supplies for K–12 students in St. Peter and rural Nicollet County. In 2021, FOL provided backpacks for 600 students, and they anticipate serving at least 575 students in 2022!

You can contribute to their collection by bringing your items to Union through August 14. See the image above for a list of desired donation items.
