Fall Adult Study begins on Sunday, September 11. This fall, we will be reading and discussing Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, from Matthew 5–7.

In each session, we will watch a short video from Dr. Amy-Jill Levine, followed by an open discussion

Dr. Amy-Jill Levine takes a detailed and colorful overview of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Through Dr. Levine’s engaging method of biblical interpretation, readers will come away with a solid understanding of the Sermon on the Mount in its historical and theological context.

The videos and discussion are appropriate for adults and teens, and all are welcome. No homework or background knowledge are required.

We meet Sundays, 9:00 – 10:00 am, in the Traverse des Sioux Room (behind the sanctuary platform); enter from the side door from the church parking lot.
