Sunday, September 10 marks the start of fall activities at Union, including Sunday School and a fun fellowship event!

Start of Sunday School & Family Meeting

Sunday School for kids begins on September 10 at 9:00 a.m. Weather permitting, we will have a fun outdoor activity for the kids that day. While the kids play, the Christian Education committee invites parents to a meeting in the large Sunday School room upstairs. The committee members want to learn more about you and how we can support your child’s Christian education. They will also be asking to see if there are times when you and other parents can step forward to help teach Sunday school. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Third-Grade Bibles in Worship

Please bring your third grader to worship on Sunday, September 10. On behalf of the church, Pastor Andy will present your child with a free study bible for them to read and grow into.

Corn Roast

One and all are invited to a corn roast gathering on Sunday, September 10th at 4:00 p.m. at the Wahlund home. Roasted corn on the cob, hot dogs, and beverages will be provided. Please bring your lawn chair and a side dish or dessert to share if possible. The sign-up sheet is in the church foyer; please indicate if you need a ride as well. We hope this will be an opportunity for fellowship with longtime members and the many new families we have welcomed. (Rain will move this event to the church.)
