It’s time for the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign — a month when we come together to support our neighbors through the Saint Peter Area Food Shelf (SPAFS).
During March, every dollar and every pound of food or supplies donated helps SPAFS in two important ways. Not only do these gifts directly support local families, but the total dollars and pounds raised also help determine how much additional funding SPAFS receives from the FoodFund.
Our church goal this year is to contribute 2,026 dollars + pounds to SPAFS! Throughout the month, we’ll track our progress on a large thermometer display; watch it rise as we give generously together.
How to Give:
- Monetary donations:
- Place cash or checks in the offering plate (please designate “St. Peter Food Shelf”)
- Give online on the church’s website by selecting “St. Peter Food Shelf”
- All proceeds from Wednesday night soup suppers in Lent will go to the food shelf
- Requested non-cash donations (hygiene items especially needed):
- Toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, fluoride mouthwash
- Bar soap
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Deodorant
- Dish soap
- Laundry detergent
- Diapers (infant and toddler)
- Feminine hygiene products
Thank you for your generosity and for helping care for our neighbors in need. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our community this March!
